Our Firm

Schall & Barasch LLC is an employment law firm representing individual employees throughout the State of New Jersey in a wide range of cases involving employment rights - discrimination, sexual harassment, disability and reasonable accommodation, retaliation, whistleblowing, overtime pay, wrongful termination and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).  Schall & Barasch also advises and represents employees in regard to non-compete agreements.

Founding partners Richard Schall and Patricia Barasch have dedicated the entirety of their careers to advancing the cause of employee rights. They have been involved in litigating critical, cutting-edge employment cases and have consistently served as leaders in both state and national employment lawyers’ associations. From its inception in 2000, the firm has been guided by a set of principles which underscore this commitment.

Guiding principles of Schall & Barasch:

  • We believe that in order to provide the highest quality representation in this ever-changing, complex area of the law, we must concentrate on one and only one area of practice - employment litigation.
  • We believe that employees are entitled to the highest quality of representation in order to successfully take on even the largest corporations and law firms in the State of New Jersey.
